New home sales in the US increased by 20 percent

In August, new home sales rose by more than 20 percent, reaching a level of 800,000 units for the year. This figure is the highest in the last three years.

According to experts, the reduction of prices by homebuilders and the provision of various incentives to buyers stimulated sales. Additionally, the slight easing of loan conditions has expanded the opportunity to purchase homes.

However, new homes hold a small share within the overall housing market. Due to high prices and limited financial capabilities of the population, many buyers face difficulties in purchasing homes.

Analysts emphasize that if mortgage interest rates continue to decline, home sales may increase further in the near future. Thus, positive changes are observed in the housing market, but it is important not to forget that challenges remain for buyers.
