Erdoğan: Turkey stands firm on the path of peace
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan shared important views on global political processes at the Bosphorus Diplomatic Forum. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

He emphasized that some forces are trying to escalate the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, but Turkey always strives to maintain peace. As Erdoğan stated, Turkey has never chosen the path of alienation and has not lost its humanitarian stance even in difficult situations.

For example, while many countries turned away from refugees coming from Syria, Turkey extended a helping hand to them. According to him, Turkey is also actively working towards a just peace in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Although there are forces benefiting from the war, Turkey opposes their actions and strives to achieve peace. Currently, these efforts are also ongoing in Palestine and the Gaza region.

At the same time, Erdoğan did not disclose exactly who the forces he called "war barons" are. In 2024, he stated that certain political circles in the West are increasing the risk of a world war, aiming to gain huge profits from arms trade.

According to him, the West is the main arms market. On September 23, 2025, Erdoğan once again expressed his support for peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.

According to the president, actions are carried out under the slogan "there is no winner in war, and no loser in a just world." In the future, all opportunities will be mobilized to stop shootings and establish peace.

The Turkish leader noted his deep understanding of his responsibility in ensuring global peace and stability.
