An Uzbek company was granted a gas field license in Afghanistan

The Afghan government has granted licenses to Uzbek companies for geological exploration and production of hydrocarbon fields. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to information obtained from official sources, the legal foundations of the project have been fully approved. Practical work began on September 14 at the Tuti field gas field in Afghanistan.

This project is planned to be implemented over 25 years. The Uzbek company Eriell KAM was selected as the executor.

The project may open the shortest route to sea ports for Uzbekistan. Additionally, the development of infrastructure will expand transit opportunities and create new possibilities in the logistics sector.

Strengthening regional cooperation will help increase regional trade and transport flows. Stability and security in Afghanistan are of great importance for the success of the project.
