Melania Trump returned Ukrainian children to their families
Melania Trump, the First Lady of the United States, recently announced that seven Ukrainian children and one Russian girl have been returned to their families. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

She made this announcement in her video address. The video was posted on the official YouTube channel of the White House.

According to Melania Trump, the communication channel with Russia was established following the meeting between the US and Russian presidents in Alaska in August. At that time, she personally wrote a letter to Vladimir Putin expressing her concerns about the fate of children separated due to the war.

The letter emphasized that ending the war is important not only for Ukraine but also for the well-being of Russian children. Melania Trump also stated that the Russian leader expressed his readiness for direct communication through a written response.

Thus, the two sides began exchanging information about Ukrainian children. According to her, an open line of communication has been established between the two countries.

Over the past three months, Melania's team has met several times with Russian representatives to discuss the issue of returning children to their families. The Russian side provided personal data, photographs of the children involved in the process, as well as a list of social, medical, and psychological assistance being provided to them.

According to Trump, Russia has demonstrated openness and readiness for cooperation in this process, and the information provided has been verified by the relevant US government agencies. The investigation process also involved the Ukrainian parliament's Human Rights representative and the president's representative for children's affairs.

Melania Trump announced that Russia has agreed to return Ukrainian minors who remain on Russian territory to their homeland. She also mentioned that another group of children is planned to be reunited with their families soon and expressed hope that peace will be established as soon as possible.

This statement received significant attention in international media. Analysts emphasize that the dialogue between Melania Trump and Vladimir Putin could open a new diplomatic chapter amid the international crisis.
