At that time, she personally wrote a letter to Vladimir Putin expressing her concerns about the fate of children separated due to the war.
The letter emphasized that ending the war is important not only for Ukraine but also for the well-being of Russian children. Melania Trump also stated that the Russian leader expressed his readiness for direct communication through a written response.
