YouTube platform has introduced a new program called “Second Chance.” This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Within this program, creators whose channels have been blocked will have the opportunity to apply to restore their activities one year after the block. This initiative is not an appeal but is intended for users who have violated the rules and whose ability to file complaints has been exhausted.
Each application will be reviewed individually, taking into account the creator’s previous violations and YouTube community guidelines. Once the application is approved, the creator will have the right to open a new channel, re-upload their previous videos, and monetize them.
However, users who have violated copyright will not be able to use this program. According to YouTube’s official information, all users will be notified about the program soon through YouTube Studio.
This initiative was implemented following Google’s dialogue with U.S. Congressman Jim Jordan. The company plans to review its blocking policy and the accuracy of information.
