Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the country may have Tomahawk missiles in the near future. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He emphasized that Ukraine has never used the United States' long-range weapons to strike targets on Russian territory. At the same time, Kyiv stated that it has the capability to target objects at distances ranging from 150 to 3000 kilometers using its domestically produced weapons.
In a conversation with journalists, Zelensky said that new developments occur every day and noted that Tomahawk missiles might possibly join Ukraine's arsenal tomorrow. He also stated that a potential meeting between Trump and Putin would not take place without Kyiv's involvement.
The Ukrainian leader noted that new sanctions have been imposed against Russia's energy sector and emphasized that no meeting in Hungary will occur without Ukraine. Currently, Tomahawk missiles are not present in Ukraine's arsenal, but Zelensky assessed the progress in this regard positively.
These remarks were made at the European Union summit.
