Kamala Harris is considering running for president
Former US Vice President Kamala Harris has announced that she may run for president again in the future. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

In an interview with the BBC publication, she left open the possibility of continuing her political career. According to Harris, she does not plan to completely withdraw from politics and emphasized that serving society is in her nature.

“I have dedicated my entire career to serving people; it is my natural desire. I cannot separate this from myself,” Harris said.

In response to the question, “Could you be the first woman to lead the White House someday?” she replied, “Probably yes,” but stated that she has not made a final decision about running for president. The next US presidential election will be held in 2028.

Harris said she is currently considering whether to start a new phase in her political career or work in another direction. She added that there are various ways to serve, but she has not yet decided which path to take in the future.

Additionally, Harris expressed opposition to the idea that her candidacy for the Democratic Party is insignificant or weak. She emphasized that she relies not on polls and analyses but on trust and action.

“If I only looked at poll results, I probably would not have placed my candidacy in first or second place. But here I am now,” she said.

During the conversation, Harris criticized the current president Donald Trump’s activities. In her opinion, Trump used federal agencies for personal interests and pressured some business and organization leaders.

“Many people kneeled before him out of fear before Trump returned to power. They wanted to be close to power or avoid responsibility,” Kamala Harris said.

It is worth noting that in the last presidential election, Kamala Harris received 48.43 percent of the vote, but Donald Trump won. For this reason, it is observed that she is seriously considering a political comeback.
