Uzbekistani Muay Thai Fighters Won Gold at the Asian Games
On October 26, 2025, at the Asian Games held in Bahrain, Uzbekistani Muay Thai athletes Asadbek Turdiboyev and Muzaffar Norxojayev won gold medals. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In the under-15 age group, in the 51-kilogram weight category, Asadbek Turdiboyev defeated the Iraqi representative decisively and confidently in the final match. This achievement was recorded as an important event in the history of Uzbekistani sports.
Additionally, among athletes under 17 years old in the 54-kilogram weight category, Muzaffar Norxojayev outperformed the Cambodian representative with superiority in technique and speed, bringing the gold medal to our country. These victories contribute to strengthening the position of Uzbekistani Muay Thai on the Asian stage.
