“Collins” dictionary announced the word of 2025
The famous British “Collins” dictionary has identified the most important word of 2025. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The term “vibe coding” was chosen as the word of the year. This was announced on the dictionary’s official website.

The term “vibe coding” refers to the process of writing code with the help of artificial intelligence. That is, the programmer does not write the code directly but explains in simple language what result is needed, and the AI creates the ready-made code.

According to experts, this technology represents a new stage in interacting with technology. The term has begun to be widely used not only in Silicon Valley but also in IT communities in regions such as Europe and Asia.

The “Collins” editorial team evaluated the term “vibe coding” as a word reflecting the increasing integration of artificial intelligence into daily life and the changes in the ways people work. Additionally, dictionary specialists recognized terms like “Labubu” and “slonyara” as among the 40 most frequently used words of 2025.

The new term once again confirms that the boundary between technology and humans is becoming increasingly blurred. This indicates that modern technologies are penetrating human activities more deeply.
