Illegal migrants in Bulgaria involved in a car accident, 6 people died

Six illegal migrants died as a result of a road traffic accident near the city of Burgas in southern Bulgaria. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The Bulgarian National Radio reported on this. It is stated that the border police were pursuing a vehicle carrying illegal migrants from the city of Kiten for about 40 kilometers.

When the driver tried to enter the city of Burgas, he broke through a road barrier. However, the vehicle overturned and fell into a nearby lake.

Six people died at the scene, three citizens were seriously injured and hospitalized. The driver, a Romanian citizen, survived and is currently in police custody.

An investigation is underway regarding the incident. All details of the event have not yet been disclosed.
