Turkey remains a leading destination for Russian tourists
Russians mainly chose Turkey for their summer vacations this year. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to the Unified Interagency Information and Statistics System, from July to September 2025, there were 2.7 million visits from Russia to Turkey. This figure is the highest result in the last four years.

Compared to last year, the number of tourists increased by 6.4 percent. These numbers once again confirm that Turkey is one of the most popular destinations for Russian tourists.

The last time such high activity was recorded was in 2021, when 2.8 million trips were made during this period. In the first nine months of 2025, a total of 5.3 million Russians visited Turkey.

For comparison, in the same period before the pandemic in 2019, this figure was 5.9 million. According to experts, the growing interest in Turkey is related to the convenient visa-free regime, stable air traffic, and relatively affordable vacation options.

Antalya, Alanya, and Bodrum remain the most popular places for family trips and beach holidays. Russian tourists especially appreciate the high level of service in Turkey, all-inclusive vacation packages, and the favorable climate that lasts until the end of October.
