
A bus carrying foreign tourists in Thailand met with an accident. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The incident occurred in the mountainous Lampang province located in the north of the country, according to the "Matichon" newspaper. The bus was traveling from Chiang Mai city towards Bangkok.
At a curve in the road, the driver lost control, resulting in the vehicle overturning. There were a total of 38 passengers on the bus.
All of them were foreign nationals, mostly tourists from Arab countries. As a result of the unfortunate incident, 12 people were injured.
Two of them are in serious condition and have been hospitalized. Local doctors are fighting for their lives.
According to preliminary police information, the causes of the incident are not yet clear. However, it is assumed that the slippery road conditions or driver fatigue might be among the reasons for the tragedy.
Thai officials have dispatched ambulance and rescue teams to the scene. An investigation into the situation is currently underway.
