Oliver Archer, a 21-year-old living in London, accidentally met his father, whom he had been unable to find for decades, at a local store. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
They had not seen each other for twenty years. This was reported by the Pravilamag publication.
According to Oliver, while he was standing in line at the store, he overheard a man behind him speaking Turkish on the phone and jokingly said, "My father is Turkish too." When the man said his name, Oliver realized it was the same as his father's name and was surprised.
After leaving the store, Oliver asked the man for his mother's name, and this information also matched. Then Oliver said, "I might be your son."
At first, they laughed about the situation, then they started talking sincerely. Instead of apologizing, the man expressed his happiness about this meeting.
It turned out that Oliver had been searching for his father since childhood. He had conducted searches through social networks, DNA tests, and old letters from his mother, but due to inexperience, he had not succeeded.
Surprisingly, they had actually been living only five minutes apart from each other. After this meeting, father and son decided to talk every day and restore their relationship.
Oliver also learned that he has six stepbrothers and stepsisters. Despite the twenty-year separation, the young man emphasized that he held no resentment towards his father.
"I believe in second chances. There is no need to live in the past.
The important thing is that we have today," Oliver shared his thoughts.
