The US supports the C6+1 format in Central Asia

The White House has announced Central Asia as one of the priority directions in the foreign policy of the United States. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was announced by John Herbst, head of the Atlantic Council's Eurasia Center, at the first forum organized by US and Azerbaijani analytical centers. According to this decision, Washington supports expanding the C5+1 platform to the C6+1 format with the participation of Azerbaijan.
According to John Herbst, at the summit held in Tashkent, the regional countries decided to invite Azerbaijan to join the C6 format. This indicates Baku's growing importance in regional politics.
The US's efforts to further strengthen relations with Central Asia and its focus on expanding Azerbaijan's participation in this process are expected to contribute to the development of regional cooperation. Thus, the C6+1 format demonstrates new opportunities among the countries of the region.
