Japan was named the world's most desirable country
The Readers’ Choice Awards (RCA), organized annually by Wanderlust magazine, identifies the best destinations and brands in world tourism. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

More than 200,000 travel enthusiasts participated in this year’s competition to determine the most desirable countries of the year. This award is given to the best destinations and tour operators that have established their position in the tourism sector.

In this year’s competition, Japan was awarded the title of “Most Desirable Country.” Interestingly, Japan last received such recognition ten years ago.

The popularity of this country is due to the diversity of its tourism opportunities: sandy beaches, peaceful mountain landscapes, rich history and culture, as well as modern metropolises and world-famous theme parks — all are embodied in Japan. Cities like Tokyo and Kyoto remain the most popular destinations among tourists.

At the same time, travelers are also discovering the coasts of Shikoku, the land of Kanazawa artisans, and Japan’s remote islands. Especially, Tokyo’s Jimbocho district is a special place of interest for book lovers.

Second place was taken by Costa Rica. This country is famous for its rich nature and wildlife.

The Osa Peninsula is considered one of the world’s most underrated yet noteworthy eco-adventure destinations. Canada took third place.

With its vast territories, unique natural beauty, and diverse tourist spots, Canada attracts millions of tourists. The top 10 countries named the most desirable in the world are as follows: Japan, Costa Rica, Canada, Australia, Peru, South Africa, the USA, New Zealand, Brazil, and Ecuador.

From this list, it is evident that countries with natural, historical, and cultural wealth are becoming increasingly attractive to tourists.
