
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan shared his views on the war between Russia and Ukraine following a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Ankara. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He emphasized that active participation of the US, alongside Russia, is important to stop the conflict and accelerate negotiations. According to Erdoğan, Turkey is ready to discuss proposals with Moscow to achieve a just, stable, and long-term peace.
He also stated that he is ready to work on initiatives that would expedite reconciliation with Russia. He noted that US involvement in this process is of great significance.
According to Ankara, Washington’s inclusion in this process could activate diplomatic negotiations and help bring the parties together around one table. The Turkish leader stressed that cooperation of all parties is necessary to implement these initiatives.
