An unusual and alarming incident involving wild animals occurred in the Mangistau region of Kazakhstan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Two students from a local village school were attacked by a fox. The “Nur.kz” news agency reported this incident, which attracted public attention.
According to the Regional Health Department, on November 21, two schoolchildren were attacked by an unknown animal. The children were immediately taken by their parents to the Beyneu central district hospital.
It was later determined that the attacking animal was a corsac fox. According to the initial examination by doctors, the child born in 2011 had scratches and bite marks on the right shin, while the child born in 2018 had similar marks on the left leg.
The injured children underwent urgent surgical intervention and received necessary vaccinations. Their condition is currently assessed as satisfactory, and they are under outpatient observation.
Experts believe that wild animals, including foxes, can spread dangerous infections such as rabies. Ecologist Odilbek Qo‘zibaqov emphasized that approaching or capturing such animals is very dangerous.
If anyone encounters a wild animal, they should immediately report it to the relevant authorities and consult a doctor if necessary. In such situations, caution and prompt action are very important.
