The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan announced this. The event was organized ahead of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's visit to Japan.
The head of state is scheduled to participate in the first "Central Asia + Japan" summit. During the summit, issues of strengthening cooperation between Tashkent and Tokyo will be discussed.
The Japanese government is expected to propose cooperation initiatives at this summit with Central Asian countries in the fields of artificial intelligence and modernization of logistics in the Caspian Sea. Following the summit, the parties aim to enhance mutually beneficial cooperation.
Between 2017 and 2024, the trade volume between Uzbekistan and Japan increased 2.3 times, reaching 388.6 million US dollars. During this period, Japan invested 184 million dollars in the Uzbek economy.
As of December 2023, 121 enterprises with Japanese capital are operating in Uzbekistan. Tokyo Tower is a symbol of Japan's capital and one of its famous landmarks.
This tower was built in 1958 and has a height of 333 meters. Initially, it served for television and radio broadcasting.
The tower has observation decks and features white and deep orange colors.
