Illegal settlements are increasing in the West Bank
The process of establishing new settlements by Jewish settlers in the West Bank under Israeli control is accelerating. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to international information sources, the small settlements being built in these areas are gradually turning into large residential areas. Experts believe that this situation seriously hinders the establishment of the Palestinian state.

Local Palestinian families are being forced to leave their homes due to attacks organized by settlers. In some areas, houses have been burned down and livestock taken away.

According to United Nations data, hundreds of Palestinians were injured as a result of such attacks in 2025. Reports indicate that 80 illegal settlements were established in the West Bank this year.

The Israeli government is legalizing some settlements by granting them official status later. Government representatives explain this policy with security concerns, but international organizations approach it critically.

The international community considers the illegal settlements in the West Bank to be in violation of international law. Human rights defenders emphasize that insufficient serious measures are being taken regarding the numerous attacks carried out by settlers.
