China conducted live-fire military exercises around Taiwan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The exercises involved military forces, warships, aircraft, and artillery units. The main objective of the event was to block Taiwan's ports and to militarily encircle the island.
In response, Taiwan mobilized its troops, showcased its military equipment, and declared its readiness to repel any attack. The Chinese military command announced that the exercises were conducted in the northern and southwestern areas of the Taiwan Strait.
Taiwan's security officials noted that several warships and aircraft were operating around the island. It was reported that some of them approached within a 24 nautical mile radius of the island.
These exercises began 11 days after the United States delivered weapons to Taiwan. Taiwan's Coast Guard is working actively alongside the military to minimize the negative impact of the exercises.
Taiwan's armed forces stated that they are at a high level of readiness and prepared for rapid response measures. The Taiwan government condemned China's actions and emphasized its commitment to protecting democratic values.
Furthermore, the people of Taiwan reiterated once again that only they have the right to decide the future of the island.
