Trump announced his desire to control Greenland

US President Donald Trump has once again openly announced his desire to take control of Greenland. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This decision has sparked new diplomatic tensions in the Arctic region. According to Trump, Washington must take control of the island by any means, otherwise there is a risk that this territory will fall into the hands of Russia or China.
The Danish government strongly opposed Trump's plan. Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen emphasized that this action is against international law and could cause serious disputes within NATO.
Greenland and Denmark are equal members of NATO, and such an action could harm the alliance's unity. Greenland attracts the US not only with its glaciers but also with its underground resources.
The island is rich in metals such as copper, gold, iron ore, and zinc, and has reserves of graphite, nickel, and rare earth elements necessary for high technologies. These resources are important for electric vehicle manufacturing, defense systems, and other sectors.
The European Union has recognized these riches as "critical raw materials," which could reduce the West's dependence on China. At the same time, Greenland's mining industry is still in the development stage.
The local government's ban on uranium mining has halted many projects. However, recently, with the support of the European Union, permission was granted for the Amitsoq graphite project.
If this project is implemented, Europe could achieve independence in the battery industry. Greenland's geographical location makes it a strategic point between North America and Europe.
Control over resources has become not only an economic but also a national security issue. Behind Trump's plan to control Greenland lies the desire to secure these strategic supply chains.
In your opinion, if the US tries to seize Greenland by force, could this further escalate international conflicts?
