Habi Leym sold intellectual property for 975 million dollars

A Senegalese blogger known for his silent and simple videos on the TikTok platform, Habi Leym, has attracted attention with a noteworthy news. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to "Tell News Magazine," Habi Leym sold his intellectual property rights through a contract worth 975 million dollars. This agreement was made by the US company Rich Sparkle Holdings, which obtained exclusive rights to use Leym's intellectual property for three years.
According to the contract, the company will also have the opportunity to develop a digital copy of Leym based on artificial intelligence. It is noted that the blogger did not receive this amount as a simple royalty; instead, he expanded his activities as a shareholder holding a controlling stake in the company.
Through this, he aims to transform from a simple content creator into a corporate sector representative. Experts call this model "a new formula for influencer income."
According to them, owning a company share can bring greater long-term profits compared to one-time advertising revenues. Habi Leym's path to success is unique for many.
During the pandemic, Leym, who was an ordinary worker in Italy, has become one of the most popular content creators on TikTok with over 160 million subscribers today. His minimalist and silent content has enabled collaborations with major brands.
The publication emphasizes that through this deal, Rich Sparkle Holdings plans to earn over 4 billion dollars annually from social networks, licensing, and AI-based content. Additionally, after the deal was announced, the company's shares increased by more than 250 percent in one day.
Thus, this success shows that new rules are forming in the world of influencers: instead of advertising revenues, owning shareholder stakes is becoming the main principle today.
