Two bloggers jailed for 15 days in Almaty for insults
In the city of Almaty, two Russian bloggers were held administratively liable for using insulting language about Kazakhstani women during a live broadcast. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

They were sentenced to 15 days of imprisonment. This incident caused significant public outrage, and although attempts were made to justify their words under the pretext of “content,” the situation led to a serious conflict.

According to the Prosecutor General's Office of Kazakhstan, the case was classified as “minor hooliganism,” and appropriate measures were taken. Additionally, an investigation is underway under Article 174 of the Criminal Code of Kazakhstan concerning incitement of interethnic hatred or enmity.

Local media report that the individuals sentenced to jail are Rinat Pashaev and Anar Abdullaev, who later admitted their mistakes and formally apologized to the public. However, the Almaty Specialized Administrative Court legally reviewed their actions and imposed a 15-day imprisonment sentence.

This incident once again reminded a truth: every word spoken in public or in front of a camera carries responsibility. Especially when these words affect the dignity of others, it is not a joke but can lead to serious consequences.
