The incident occurred in the popular tourist area of Dotonbori district in the city center. It is known that the attacker and the teenagers were previously acquainted.

Initially, a verbal argument took place between them, which later escalated into a physical fight, during which the suspect used a knife. As a result, three teenagers were injured.

The injured were immediately taken to the hospital, but despite the doctors' efforts, one of them passed away. The suspect tried to flee after the incident but was apprehended by the police in Nara Prefecture.

An investigation is underway regarding this case. The police are trying to determine the causes of the incident.
