Former Minister Galushchenko detained at the border

According to Ukrainian media reports, former Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko was detained on the night of February 14–15 while attempting to illegally cross the state border. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The publication "Ukrainskaya pravda," citing sources in political circles, reported that Galushchenko was removed from the train. According to sources, this incident occurred against the backdrop of a major corruption scandal known as the "Midas" case.
Border guards received instructions from the Ukrainian National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office to immediately report if the former minister tried to leave the border. Therefore, his actions were monitored, and he was detained.
The Reuters news agency also reported the former minister's detention at the border. Additional details are currently limited as investigations are ongoing and official statements have not been fully released.
Some publications note that Galushchenko served as Minister of Energy from 2021 to 2025 and briefly headed the Ministry of Justice in 2025.
