US operations in Venezuela cost $2.9 billion

The amount of money the US government has spent on operations related to Venezuela has been revealed. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to calculations by the Bloomberg news agency, military activities in the Caribbean region have been costly for the US budget. The total expenditure is estimated to be around 2.9 billion dollars.
One of the largest expense items corresponded to the operating costs of military ships. According to the data, during the period from November 2023 to January 2024, daily expenses for the ships exceeded 20 million dollars at times.
These operations caused significant financial pressure due to maritime activities. Nevertheless, White House representatives had previously emphasized that these operations did not impose additional costs on taxpayers.
However, calculations show that the maritime activities alone required considerable financial resources. Now the main question is how much longer such large expenses will continue and what results these operations will yield?
This issue is still being discussed among the public and experts.
