It has become easier to verify product authenticity in Kazakhstan
It has become even easier for buyers in Kazakhstan to verify the authenticity of products. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to the press service of the eGov.kz portal, a function to check products via a digital code has been added to the eGov Mobile application. This new feature is based on the Naqty Onim service and provides quick, convenient, and free access to information in the digital marking system.

Now, to verify the authenticity of a product, it is enough to scan the Data Matrix code on the item. Through the app, users can learn about the product's authenticity, manufacturer, production date, and other key information.

This function is especially useful for checking goods with a high risk of counterfeiting: medicines, tobacco products, and footwear. An important point is that this service applies only to products that require mandatory digital marking and have a Data Matrix code.

In particular, when checking medicines, it is required that they are officially registered in the system. That is, not just any medicine, but only legally registered products are verified.

This innovation gives buyers the opportunity to protect themselves from counterfeit products and make the right choice. With just one scan, all important information about the product can be obtained.

Thus, another important step has been taken in Kazakhstan to protect consumer rights.
