Trump imposed a 10 percent tariff on imported goods

US President Donald Trump has signed an order to impose an additional 10 percent import tariff on products coming from all countries. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He announced this on his page on the social network Truth Social. According to the President, the decision was signed at the Oval Office and took effect immediately.
Trump described this measure as an important step in economic policy. According to White House information, under the new regulation, a 10 percent tariff will be imposed on all goods imported into the United States.
This decision will be in effect starting February 24 and will last for 150 days. It should be noted that earlier the US Supreme Court had found some tariffs imposed by Trump under the law on managing emergencies to be illegal.
The court's decision noted that the president exceeded his authority. Nevertheless, Trump emphasized that all tariffs will remain in effect.
In his view, such measures serve to protect the economic interests of the United States.
