New Delhi Summit: Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Humanity

The Artificial Intelligence Impact Summit held in New Delhi in 2026 once again confirmed that technology and humanity have entered a new phase. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This summit was significant for hosting heads of state and government of India, innovators, and representatives from over 100 countries. During the event, advanced solutions related to artificial intelligence were showcased, and thousands of young people actively participated with their questions and interests.
This summit became the "largest and most democratic AI forum." In his speech, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi included artificial intelligence among the most important technological changes in human history.
He emphasized that artificial intelligence is not only a tool that makes machines intelligent but also a technology that expands human capabilities. The principle of placing humans at the center of artificial intelligence was promoted as the main idea of the summit.
Modi explained this principle with values meaning "the welfare and happiness of all" and stressed that technology must serve the interests of the people. India presented practical experiences in applying artificial intelligence in agriculture, security, and other fields.
For example, through the "Sarlaben" digital assistant, advice on livestock health and productivity is provided to 3.6 million farmers. Additionally, the "Bharat VISTAAR" platform offers farmers useful information about weather and market prices.
Modi introduced the "MANAV" concept for managing artificial intelligence based on ethical standards, accountability, national sovereignty, and transparency principles. He also emphasized the necessity of verifying the authenticity of content created by artificial intelligence and combating disinformation.
The issue of child safety was also discussed separately. The summit addressed the future labor market and new professions.
Indian youth are being offered retraining and lifelong learning opportunities to become the main driving force of the artificial intelligence era. India is working on providing infrastructure and affordable computing resources to develop the AI ecosystem, as well as establishing a national AI repository.
At the conclusion of the summit, India called on the world to direct artificial intelligence towards human benefit and to build a future based on justice, trust, and transparency. It was emphasized that the power of artificial intelligence must rely on human dignity and ethical values.
