The explosion at Moscow station took the lives of two people

Last night, on the night of February 24, an explosion occurred at the Savelovsky station square in Moscow. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
As a result of this incident, two people died, and two others sustained various injuries and were hospitalized. This was reported by the “Astra” publication.
According to information, the incident took place at approximately 00:05. When the person who caused the explosion approached the road patrol officers, an unknown object exploded.
As a result, 34-year-old senior inspector, Lieutenant D.B., died. Two other officers were injured and hospitalized.
The explosion also damaged the service vehicle, breaking its windows and damaging the cabin and other parts. Initially, it was reported that the suspect fled the scene.
However, surveillance camera footage and investigation results showed that the person who caused the explosion also died. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 317 of the Russian Criminal Code for assault on a law enforcement officer’s life and Article 222.1 for illegal use of explosive devices.
The investigation is ongoing.
