In Pulia, a man killed his wife and set his car on fire

A 48-year-old farmer is suspected of deliberately killing his 47-year-old wife. According to reports, he first struck his wife on the head with a hard object, then placed her inside the family car and set the vehicle on fire.

The crime took place on September 27, 2024, near the city of San Severo. The police are investigating the initial details of the case.

The suspect initially tried to present the incident as a traffic accident. However, according to the investigation results, the event turned out to be a premeditated murder.

During the investigation, it was revealed that the woman lost consciousness first and was later placed inside a Fiat 500 car. According to the forensic examination, the woman was alive during the fire.

Traces of carbon monoxide were found in her lungs, confirming that she was breathing during the fire. The weapon used in the murder has not yet been found.

The suspect is currently detained on charges of premeditated murder. As the investigation continues, efforts are being made to uncover all the details of the crime.
