The Polish army will be increased to 500,000 soldiers

Poland plans to expand its army to 500 thousand soldiers in the coming years. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was announced by the country's Minister of Defense Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamish at the annual meeting held with generals. These plans are aimed at enhancing Poland's defense capabilities and will be implemented gradually.
According to the minister, building a half-million-strong army is a strategic task. To achieve this goal, comprehensive measures will be carried out over several years.
In the near future, the main focus will be on forming reserve forces with combat readiness. For this purpose, military departments will be reorganized in some higher education institutions, and a general military training program will be introduced.
Currently, 218 thousand soldiers and officers serve in the Polish Armed Forces. In this regard, Poland ranks third among NATO countries after the USA and Turkey.
This initiative by the Polish government is aimed at strengthening the country's security and enhancing its position on the international stage.
