Travel to Iran was not recommended for Chinese citizens

The Consular Affairs Department of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has temporarily advised its citizens to refrain from traveling to Iran. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This decision was announced on February 27 in "The Global Times" publication. The official statement emphasized that due to the current security situation in Iran, Chinese citizens are advised to avoid traveling to this country.
Additionally, Chinese citizens currently in Iran are advised to strengthen personal safety measures and leave the country as soon as possible. Furthermore, it was noted that Chinese diplomatic missions in Iran and neighboring countries may provide practical assistance to citizens in exiting the country via commercial flights or land routes.
It was stated that security measures and the protection of citizens are of paramount importance to the Chinese government.
