Military tension between Iran and Israel is escalating

The situation in the Middle East is becoming increasingly tense. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
On February 28, Iran announced that it had launched dozens of rockets towards Israel in response to joint US and Israeli attacks targeting Iran. The Israeli Defense Forces also confirmed that rockets were fired from Iran.
At the same time, Israel's air defense systems were activated and measures were taken to neutralize the threat. International news agencies, including Reuters, are providing information confirming this situation.
An air raid alert was declared in Israeli territory, and the population was advised to stay in shelters. Sirens sounded in various parts of the country, and air defense systems were operational.
This incident is not just a simple political conflict but is being assessed as the beginning of a military counter-response phase. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran described these strikes as a response to attacks on its territory.
Iran stated that this is only the first phase and that response measures will continue if necessary. According to some reports, Iran's strikes targeted not only Israel but also US military facilities in Qatar, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates.
Specifically, there are reports of air defense systems being activated around the Al-Udeid airbase in Qatar, explosions heard in Bahrain, and loud sounds recorded in Abu Dhabi. This situation shows that the conflict is not just a tension between two countries but poses a threat to the security of the entire region.
Iranian officials emphasized that all US and Israeli facilities and interests in the Middle East have become legitimate targets. According to them, this is not a short-term response but the beginning of military actions that could escalate step by step.
Such statements further increase the risk in the region and raise the likelihood of ongoing conflicts. The attacks by the US and Israel on Iran have been widely covered by the international community.
According to information, these attacks were carried out to pressure Iran's military infrastructure, missile capabilities, and nuclear program. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described these actions as necessary measures to ensure the country's security.
The escalation of the situation deepens the security problems in the region. How the conflicts will develop and what consequences they may bring in the future remain the focus of the global community.
So far, it is clear that the conflict threatening stability in the region is increasing the likelihood of turning into a broader military confrontation.
