US Secretary of State emphasized the necessity of continuing the war in the Middle East

Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi made a sharp statement regarding the situation in the Middle East. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He rejected the international community's calls to cease fire and emphasized the necessity to continue the fight to ensure the country's security. According to Araghchi, actions carried out by the US and Israel are harming civilians and hospitals, which further complicates the situation in the region.
In an interview with NBC News, the minister recalled that Israel and the US have violated previously reached agreements. In his opinion, temporary truces are ineffective, and permanent and stable measures are necessary to stop the war in the region.
Araghchi stated that Iran is not targeting neighboring countries but rather US bases and facilities located on their territory. He also announced that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian apologized to the regional population for the inconveniences caused.
Araghchi issued a warning regarding a possible US ground invasion. He emphasized that Iranian military forces are ready to eliminate any enemy entering the country's territory.
Although Iran has tried to prevent the war through diplomatic means, external aggression forces them to defend themselves. Thus, the minister stressed the seriousness of the situation and noted the necessity to resolve conflicts in the region peacefully.
