Nikolas Maduro addressed the people on International Women's Day

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, who is being held in US prisons, sent a letter to his people on March 8 – International Women's Day. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The politician's son, Nicolas Maduro Guerra, published this address written by his father on social networks. This was reported by the website tengrinews.kz.
In the letter, Maduro called on his compatriots to be patient and faithful in overcoming difficulties. He quoted the words of Prophet Jesus about faith that can move mountains and expressed confidence that the trials facing the country will soon end.
This address is one of the first messages the president sent to the people after being detained in the US. It is worth noting that on January 3, 2025, US special services detained Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores.
On January 5, a federal court in New York charged them with involvement in drug trafficking. Maduro and his wife denied the charges against them.
Currently, the Venezuelan administration is temporarily headed by Delcy Rodriguez, who served as vice president.
