It was reported that the incident took place in a building located in the Menteşe district. Following an urgent call from local residents and dormitory staff, police, fire safety services, and emergency medical teams immediately arrived at the scene.
Experts began efforts to persuade the young man to change his mind while simultaneously taking necessary measures against a potential jump. Fire safety personnel installed a special inflatable air cushion in the dormitory courtyard to ensure safety.
However, despite all efforts, the young man jumped down. Because he intentionally landed on the air cushion, his life was saved.
