Uganda general demanded a billion dollars and a bride from Turkey
Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the son of the President of Uganda and a general of the country's defense forces, has attracted international attention with another sensational statement. Zamin.uz reported on this.

According to India Today, the general put forward extremely unexpected and unusual demands toward Turkey on his social media page. He demanded that the Turkish state provide one billion dollars in funds and give him the most beautiful woman in the country as a wife.

Although the post was deleted shortly after, it sparked widespread discussion across the internet. In his statements, General Kainerugaba sharply criticized Turkey's economic cooperation with Somalia.

In his view, Turkey is reaping excessive profits from projects being implemented in Somali territory, and dividends from these profits should also be allocated to Uganda. The general threatened to sever diplomatic ties between the two countries and ban Turkish Airlines flights from Ugandan airspace if his demands were not met.

It is worth noting that such sharp and unusual statements are not new for Muhoozi Kainerugaba. He had previously caused a major political conflict by stating that he could capture the capital of neighboring Kenya in a short period.

In that situation, the President of Uganda was forced to officially apologize on behalf of his son. Additionally, the general had emphasized that Uganda was ready to fight on Israel's side in the actions of the US and Israel against Iran.

According to experts, such thoughtless statements by the general pose a serious risk to Uganda's foreign policy and negatively impact its prestige in the international arena. So far, official Ugandan circles have not issued a clear statement regarding this incident.
