Against the backdrop of a complex and tense situation in the Middle East, the Iranian government has made another sensational statement on the international stage. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Tehran officials announced that they have sent an official appeal to the United Nations, demanding substantial reparations from five Arab states in the region. The Iranian side emphasized that these countries participated indirectly in military operations conducted by the US and Israel and should be held accountable for this.

Iran's permanent representative to the UN, Amir Said Iravani, submitted this appeal to the Secretary-General of the organization and the President of the Security Council. The document specifically names Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Jordan.

Tehran officials claim that these states assisted in aggressive actions directed against Iran by allowing the use of their territories, airspace, or military infrastructure. In some cases, these countries are also accused of cooperating in attacks on areas inhabited by civilians.

Iran describes these instances as aggression contrary to the norms of international law and demands full compensation for material and moral damages incurred. However, officials from Jordan and the Persian Gulf countries targeted by the accusations have strongly denied Tehran's statement.

In their response statements, they stated that they did not participate in any operations conducted by the US or Israel against Iran and did not allow their territories to be used against third states. Representatives of these countries emphasize that Iran's claims are baseless and aimed at political goals.

According to political scientists and international relations experts, this diplomatic conflict could further exacerbate the already tense situation in the region. Such accusations negatively impact not only the relations between Iran and its neighbors but also the entire regional security architecture.

Although no specific decision has been made by the UN regarding this appeal so far, the tension between the parties is causing serious concern for the international community. How the situation develops and what measures the parties take will become clear in the coming days.
