Three-year-old child injured by falling building decoration in Kazakhstan

A tragic incident occurred in the Karaganda region of Kazakhstan. Zamin.uz reported on this.
A three-year-old child was injured after a cladding panel used for the exterior decoration of the House of Culture building fell. Because the panel hit the child's head, he was hospitalized in critical condition and is currently in an induced coma.
It is reported that the incident happened while the child was walking near the building with his father. The father tried to protect his son and managed to shield him from the falling piece of the panel.
The child's mother noted that her son's life was saved thanks to the prompt actions of doctors, although the child lost a significant amount of blood. A complex surgical operation was performed on the injured child, during which a part of the skull bone was removed.
The child's parents claim that the materials on the building's facade were of poor quality and not securely installed, demanding that those responsible be held accountable. According to the mother, there was no cement, special foam, or nails in the fallen pieces of the panel.
This indicates that the construction work was performed very poorly. The family wants all similar buildings to be inspected and the culprits to be punished.
The House of Culture building was renovated four years ago, but cracks and various defects were identified in it in 2024. The head of the building, Meyirlan Qali, stated that they had contacted the contracting company, but they did not fulfill their promises.
It was later discovered that the company that performed the work, named Aziya Nur 2030, had gone bankrupt. Currently, a criminal case has been opened regarding this incident.
Law enforcement agencies have put out a search for representatives of the contracting company. The investigation is ongoing.
