Dubai's famous Burj Al Arab hotel will close for renovation

It has been announced that Dubai's world-famous Burj Al Arab hotel will temporarily close for extensive renovation work. Zamin.uz reported on this.
According to the Reuters news agency, the luxury destination will be closed to customers for 18 months due to reconstruction work. The hotel management noted that a significant amount of time has passed since the building's construction was completed and it was put into operation.
Opened in 1999, this famous establishment is undergoing such large-scale renovation for the first time in its history. During the renovation, modern updates are expected to be introduced to both the interior and exterior of the building, and the quality of service is expected to be further improved.
At the same time, experts note that not only technical reasons but also the regional situation lie behind this decision. Political instability in the Middle East, particularly the increasing tensions between the United States, Israel, and Iran, is having a significant impact on the tourism sector.
Against the backdrop of the complex situation in the region, the decrease in tourist flow created a convenient opportunity for the hotel management to fundamentally renew the building. Burj Al Arab is considered one of the symbolic buildings not only of Dubai but of the entire world.
Once the renovation work is completed, it is expected to reopen with an even more modern and attractive appearance. The work carried out over a year and a half will serve to further enhance the hotel's prestige.
