Gautam Adani became the richest person in Asia

Significant changes have occurred in the Asian business world. Zamin.uz reported on this.
Gautam Adani, founder of the Adani Group, one of India's largest industrial groups, has regained his status as the richest person in the region. This information is reflected in the updated results of the Bloomberg Billionaires Index rating.
According to the new indicators, Gautam Adani's total wealth amounted to 92.6 billion dollars. This result not only ensured his leadership on an Asian scale but also allowed him to take 19th place on the list of world billionaires.
His main rival, Mukesh Ambani, dropped to 20th place in the rating with a capital of 90.8 billion dollars. Economic experts attribute these changes in wealth to the increase in the value of Adani Group companies' shares.
In particular, the increase in revenues of enterprises operating in the fields of energy, port logistics, and airport management strengthened Gautam Adani's financial capabilities. Since the beginning of this year, his wealth has increased by 8.1 billion dollars.
At the same time, Mukesh Ambani's capital decreased by 16.9 billion dollars over the same period. This factor was the main reason for the change in leadership on the list of Asian billionaires.
The top three richest people in the region is completed by Zhang Yiming, a representative of China's technology sector, whose wealth is estimated at 68.7 billion dollars. Looking at the list of the richest people globally, Elon Musk took first place with 656 billion dollars.
He was followed by Larry Page with 286 billion dollars and Jeff Bezos with a capital of 269 billion dollars.
