Donald Trump's approval rating has dropped to its lowest point of his presidency

Unexpected and sensational processes are being observed in the political arena of the ocean. Zamin.uz reported on this.
According to the latest social survey results from an American research group center published by the prestigious Newsweek publication, US President Donald Trump's popularity among the people has fallen to its lowest level during his two-term presidency. In these analyses, only thirty-one percent of the participating Americans expressed approval of the White House leader's policies, while sixty-four percent stated a negative attitude toward him.
For comparison, it is worth noting that in April of this year, these figures were thirty-two and sixty-three percent, respectively. The decline in the White House leader's rating is confirmed not only by a single center, but also unanimously by other leading mass media and analysis companies in the country.
In particular, details of other major surveys published in May show a similar picture. For example, in a survey conducted by the CNN television channel, sixty-five percent of participants said they were completely dissatisfied with the current president's activities.
Only thirty-five percent of the population expressed support for him. The negative indicator has risen by another step compared to last month.
Additionally, according to analyses by The Economist publication, thirty-seven percent of Americans approved of Trump's work, while fifty-seven percent stated they were against him. A point worthy of separate attention is that a slightly different trend was observed in the latest study by the international company Reuters.
According to it, thirty-five percent of the survey participants approved of the president's activities, while sixty-three percent were dissatisfied. Considering that the level of support for Trump fell to its historical minimum in April, trust in him among Americans rose by only one percent in May.
However, analysts still call this situation a crisis in the general context. This is because Donald Trump began his second term of presidency in January 2025 with a much higher trust level of forty-two percent.
The main factor distancing citizens from the current head of state was also revealed in all these prestigious social surveys. It appears that today, the dissatisfaction of Americans with the economic policy pursued by the White House leader, the rise in prices, and the devaluation of currency is increasing at a higher level than ever before.
The most worrying aspect is that trust in him is declining not only among the general population but also among the staunch supporters of the Republican Party, who have been Trump's own support base. According to statistical figures, while ninety-one percent of Republican voters recognized Trump in the first days of the second term, this indicator has significantly decreased by April of this year.
