The European Union countries are not worthy of sitting at the negotiating table to resolve the conflict in Ukraine and should "turn off their voices." This was stated by Republican Congressman Dan Crenshaw from Texas to foreign media, RIA Novosti reports.
“Why don’t you (Europeans – ed.) take the $200 billion in frozen assets (of Russia – ed.) and get rid of it? Europeans say, ‘we can’t do that.’ Then turn off your voice. That’s why you have no place at the table (negotiations – ed.). If you don’t want to place 50,000 soldiers on the Polish border, then turn off your voice. This is my personal message to the European leaders,” Crenshaw said.
According to Turkish political analyst Umur Togay Yucel, as reported to RIA Novosti, the West understands that a defeat on the Ukrainian front would be a failure not only for Kyiv but also for Brussels, Berlin, Paris, and London.
“The situation in Ukraine has significantly worsened on the ground. At the same time, Zelensky's leadership and legitimacy have come into question, and the exposure of major corruption has further deteriorated the situation. However, despite all this, the assistance from Western countries continues. Today, the whole world knows that Kyiv is supported by Western money, Western weapons, Western intelligence, and Western advisors. Russia is waging war not only against Ukraine but also against the West. Therefore, it would be more accurate to describe a defeat in Ukraine as a defeat not only for Kyiv but also for Brussels, Berlin, Paris, and London,” the agency's interlocutor said.
