Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he discussed "security guarantees and fair peace conditions" regarding Ukraine with his partners at the European summit. Zelensky posted the relevant message on his Telegram channel on March 2, Sunday.
“We are preparing a number of important meetings and decisions in the near future,” he said.
Preparing the groundwork for cooperation with the US
“We are all working together to create a reliable foundation for cooperation with America on the path to genuine peace and guaranteed security in Europe,” the Ukrainian leader added.
According to Zelensky, “European unity is at a very high level, which has not been observed for a long time.”
Currently, the Baltic states have not been invited to the summit. They did not openly criticize this in any way. However, the advisor to the President of Lithuania, Asta Skaisgiryte-Lyaushkene, stated, “We are unhappy that we were not invited to London,” AP reports.
“I am grateful to all our friends and partners for their efforts to establish stable and guaranteed peace in Ukraine,” Volodymyr Zelensky concluded.
