The USA has resumed supplying weapons to Ukraine. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a video address to the nation on Friday. According to him, positive political signals and assistance are coming from the United States and European countries.
Zelensky emphasized that the political signals received from friends in the USA and Europe are considered to be highly clear and strong. According to all information, the process of arms supply has been restored.
At the same time, the Ukrainian leader did not provide specific information on what types of weapons are being supplied. It was specifically noted that new defense assistance packages are being prepared by European countries.
These aids are of significant importance for Ukraine, as the situation at the front is severe, and precise defense tools play a crucial role in strengthening the capabilities of the Ukrainian army. Zelensky stated that next week, cooperation with the American side in military terms will continue, particularly with General Kellog on military issues.
Additionally, new European defense packages are being worked on. It is worth recalling that on July 1, Politico reported, citing the US White House, that the Pentagon had temporarily halted the supply of missiles and other precision munitions for Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine.
This decision was made due to the depletion of US reserves. Furthermore, CBS reported that temporary restrictions on arms supplies have been imposed not only on Ukraine but also on other countries.
This is part of an inventory and security check being conducted by the Pentagon. Zelensky's new statement indicated that the USA and European countries are ready to further expand military assistance to Kyiv.
In the coming weeks, new military packages are expected to be delivered to Ukraine, including air defense systems, artillery shells, and precision strike capable weapons. This process holds strategic significance for Ukraine against the backdrop of escalating relations with Russia.
Zelensky emphasized that any assistance coming from the West is a crucial support for the country's defense and sovereignty. In order to enhance defense capabilities, Kyiv is taking every word and action seriously.
Thus, Ukraine is mobilizing all possibilities to maintain its territorial integrity and protect its independence.
