The political climate in the United States is becoming increasingly tense. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The main reason for this is related to President Donald Trump's recent political actions, which are intensifying discontent among many voters. According to The Hill, the latest social survey results conducted by YouGov and The Economist clearly indicate this.
According to the survey results, 55 percent of Americans expressed dissatisfaction with Trump's political decisions and actions. They believe that the president is not fully representing the interests of the country, and his policies are often seen as divisive and one-sided.
At the same time, only 41 percent of Americans stated that they support Trump. Compared to surveys from a few weeks ago, the level of discontent has increased by 2 percent.
The number of supporters has decreased from 42 percent to 41 percent. Although this change is small, the overall trend is clearly visible.
Analysts believe that the main reason for the rising discontent towards Trump is the critical mood of Democratic Party supporters and independent voters. Among these groups, distrust and doubts about the president are growing.
Currently, preparations for the upcoming presidential elections in the US in 2024 are actively ongoing. Donald Trump is planning to participate in the elections again.
However, such changes in social sentiment could seriously impact his campaign strategy. Experts emphasize that political polarization in the US – the division of society – has deepened in recent years.
Trump, standing between these opposing views, is becoming clearer through the latest survey results and social events. Thus, the political path ahead for the president may not be easy.
While his supporters continue to defend him, the number of dissenting voices is also increasing day by day. This indicates a further intensification of competition on the US political scene.
