Warnings are increasing about the insufficient defense capabilities against drone threats in Germany. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Aerospace industry experts emphasize that the German government is facing significant problems in the field of security due to its inability to implement systematic and effective measures against drone attacks. In a letter sent to the government, the Federal Association of the German Aerospace Industry (BDLI) reported on the lack of existing legal and technical capabilities, as well as the absence of coordinated cooperation and the implementation of innovative defense solutions.
Recently, the lack of effective measures against illegal drone flights in the area of the Manching military airfield has raised doubts about Germany's internal security capabilities. BDLI Executive Director Marie-Christine von Hahn assessed this situation as a factor that undermines the reputation of a democratic state and called on the government to take concrete measures to strengthen security.
She emphasized the need to establish a coordinated cooperation system among government agencies and to implement new defense technologies. It was also noted that Germany could rapidly adopt the cooperative combat drone technology developed in the USA and purchase technologies from abroad in this regard.
Experts warn that if solutions to these problems are not found, the country's defense system at military and strategic points will remain under serious threat. This appeal sent to the government by BDLI has garnered significant public attention.
Now the main question is how the German government will draw conclusions from these critical statements and how it will shape an effective defense system against drone threats
