Additionally, Iran's cities of Omidiyeh, Ahvaz, and Dezful are also included in the list of the 15 hottest cities in the world. Meteorologists note that the high temperatures in southern Iran are related to "heated air currents" and "a decrease in humidity levels in the atmosphere."
