Tesla was expelled from the car dealership taking place in Vancouver, Canada, as reported by Tengri Auto, citing the "Za rulem" portal.
The organizers stated that their goal was to prevent negative consequences by removing the brand vehicles from the exhibition. They had offered Tesla to voluntarily exit the exhibition, but the company's representatives did not agree. As a result, the vehicles already located at the exhibition center were removed, and the company's name was deleted from the list of participants.
The executive director of the auto exhibition, Erik Nikola, explained this decision due to concerns for the safety of the event. In recent weeks, Tesla dealerships, vehicles, and their owners have been subjected to attacks.
Brand vehicles have been set on fire, tires have been slashed, and various writings have been inscribed on their bodies. The reason for this is said to be Elon Musk's political activism and the imposition of tariffs on products imported from Canada by the new U.S. administration.
